Rally Barbados 2026 Set for May 2026

Rally Barbados 2026, the 36th edition of the event, is set to drive off 29 – 31 May 2026. This is the Barbados Rally Club’s premier event and the top feature in the Caribbean’s motoring calendar. The event will be preceded by The Auto & Rally Show and King of the Hill on 23 and 24 May 2026.

Registration for RB2026 opened on 01 October 2025, and by the end of the year, over 120 crews were registered. Neil Barnard, Event Director, said that although they anticipated strong interest, they did not expect the response.

Rally Barbados 2026 Entry List

Rally Barbados attracts drivers, navigators and crews from all over the world. This year’s event will see representatives from Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Jamaica, Scotland, Great Britain, Canada, Ireland and Wales.

The provisional entry list includes crews in the following categories:

  • WRC: 5 entries
  • FIA R5: 20 entries
  • Modified 4: 11 entries
  • Group N: 3 entries
  • Supermodified 2: 24 entries
  • Supermodified 1: 11 entries
  • Modified 3: 8 entries
  • Modified 2: 9 entries
  • Modified 1: 5 entries
  • Historic 1: 2 entries
  • Historic 1: 1 entry
  • Clubman 3: 3 entries
  • Clubman 2: 12 entries
  • Clubman 1: 4 entries
  • Open Class: 3 entries

Rally Barbados 2026 will feature top-tier brands throughout the various classes. This year’s cars, which are governed by strict regulations include: Ford Fiesta, Subaru Impreza, Skoda Fabia, Hyundai, Citroen, Volkswagon Polo, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo, Audi TT, Toyota Celica, For Sierra, Ford Escort, BMW M3, Vauxhall Astra, Toyota Starlet, Toyota Corolla, Suzuki Swift, BMW 318, BMW Compact, Suzuki Ignis, Daihatsu Charmant, and the Peugeot 106.

Spectator Safety

Spectators should follow the advice and warnings of the rally officials, marshals, island constable and police.

The Barbados Rally Club lists below reminders on its website:

Do Not:

  • Stand on the road
  • Stand below the level of the road
  • Stand in front of arrows or signs
  • Stand or sit on walls or fences
  • Sit close to the edge of the track
  • Remove stage signs or arrows

Always:

  • Expect the unexpected
  • Listen for approaching cars
  • Remain alert
  • Try to keep behind something solid
  • Keep children under supervision
  • Do as the marshals ask
